Privacy Policy.

This covers hypnolabs.io — what it collects, why, who it goes to, and how to get it removed. It does not cover what a signed client engagement says about your data; that agreement governs its own work.

01Who is responsible

Hypno Labs LLC, an independent studio organized in New York, is responsible for the personal information described here. Reach us through the contact form or by post at 285 Nostrand Ave, Unit #494, Brooklyn, NY 11216.

02What we collect

What you give us.

  • Contact form: first name, last name, email address, and — if you choose to give them — phone number and business name, plus your topic and message.
  • Mailing list: email address and, optionally, first name. If you subscribed from the contact form, last name too.
  • Consent record: when you subscribed, from which page, the exact wording you were shown, and the IP address the signup came from. This exists so a complaint can be answered with what actually happened.
  • Webinar signup, while that page is live: name, email, business type, business website, and what you want out of AI.

What is collected automatically. Server logs and Google Analytics record IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP.

What we get from others. Cloudflare Turnstile returns a pass/fail signal for the human check on forms. Our email provider reports delivery, bounce, and open events.

The studio does not knowingly collect government identifiers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, health information, or other sensitive categories through this site. Please don't send them through a web form.

03How we use it

  • To answer you, and to follow up on an enquiry.
  • To send the mailing list you asked for, and transactional messages like confirmations.
  • To operate, secure, debug, measure, and improve the site and the studio's services.
  • To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
  • To develop new products, services, and ways of working — including designing and evaluating AI-assisted workflows.
  • To understand which work resonates, and to market the studio's services.
  • To comply with law, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

The studio does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

04Legal bases (EU and UK visitors)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the studio relies on: consent for the mailing list; legitimate interests for operating and securing the site, analytics, and answering enquiries; performance of a contract where you are engaging the studio; and legal obligation where the law requires it. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting what came before.

05Email and marketing

You go on the mailing list only by ticking a box or submitting the subscribe form — single opt-in, never by default and never as a condition of anything else.

Every marketing message carries a one-click unsubscribe link and the studio's postal address. You can also leave from the unsubscribe page or by writing to us. Unsubscribing stops marketing mail; it does not stop a reply to a message you sent, or a confirmation of something you asked for.

06Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and records the automatic information in section 02. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived token to verify the human check.

There is no cookie consent banner on this site today. Analytics cookies are set when you arrive. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and Google's opt-out add-on stops Analytics specifically. If you are in the EU or UK and would rather not be measured, use those controls.

07Who else sees it

Personal information is shared with service providers who process it on the studio's behalf, by category:

  • Hosting and content delivery — running the site and serving it.
  • Database — storing the mailing list and signups.
  • Email delivery — sending confirmations and the mailing list, and reporting on delivery.
  • Analytics — measuring how the site is used.
  • Bot protection — verifying that a form submission came from a person.

Categories rather than a vendor list, deliberately: providers get swapped, and a policy that names them goes stale the day one changes.

Information may also be disclosed to comply with law or valid legal process, to enforce our terms, to protect rights and safety, and — in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets — to the party involved, subject to this policy.

08Where it is processed

Hypno Labs LLC is based in the United States and information is processed there. If you are outside the US, using this site or subscribing means your information is transferred to the US, where privacy law differs from your own.

09How long it is kept

Information is kept as long as it is needed for the purposes described here, and afterwards as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes and enforcing agreements. There is no fixed schedule.

One deliberate exception: if you unsubscribe, your record is kept — marked as unsubscribed — precisely so that the studio can honour it. Deleting it entirely would mean nothing stops the address being re-added later.

10Your choices and rights

Regardless of where you live, and whether or not a statute requires it of a studio this size, Hypno Labs LLC will honour these requests:

  • Know what personal information is held about you, and get a copy.
  • Correct information that is wrong.
  • Delete information, subject to the unsubscribe-suppression exception in section 09 and to anything the law requires us to keep.
  • Opt out of marketing at any time.
  • Be treated no differently for exercising any of these.

California. The CCPA/CPRA rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing are covered above. The studio does not sell or share personal information as the CPRA defines those terms, and does not collect sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger the right to limit its use.

EU and UK. You also have the rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

To exercise anything here, use the contact form or write to the postal address above. We may need to verify who you are before acting, and an authorized agent may act for you with proof of authority.

11Children

This site is not directed to children, and the studio does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 — or under 16 where the GDPR applies. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and it will be deleted.

12Security

The studio uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information — encrypted transport, access controls, and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and no guarantee is made. Don't send confidential material through a web form.

13Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

There is no consistent industry standard for Do Not Track, and this site does not respond to DNT signals. The site does not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt you out of.

14Changes to this policy

This policy may change at any time. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the "last updated" date at the top is the notice. Where a change is material and the law requires it, you will be told directly.

15Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints go through the contact form, or by post to Hypno Labs LLC, 285 Nostrand Ave, Unit #494, Brooklyn, NY 11216. See also the Terms of Service.
